Pros

I have been with Next Generation Solutions for about 10 years now. I have learned all aspects of the job and the Company's goals from the ownership/management team. And I wouldn't work anywhere else. Yes, the work is hard and you have to be goal oriented, however, it definitely pays off when you have the proper work ethic, mentality and goals. They teach you everything you need to be successful, you just have to listen and and learn.

Cons

I wouldn't recommend this or any other job to a lazy person that doesn't want anything out of life. Those are the people who always complain about a company.

Pros

NGS was a great place to learn. They have a unique value to offer charities and non-profits. With that said it was fun to do something that is different from the run of the mill brand awareness. They are extremely helpful in training. They also have a lot of room for career advancement. I only left due to the impact of COVID-19.

Cons

It is not fast money, you will start off making a decent average check weekly. It is on you to want to grow and advance into management. I wish this would have been a little clearer but none the less I was able to succeed in it.

Pros

The people who work here are nice. You also can get concrete numbers about how much your raising so you'd have something to put on your resume.

Cons

During my interview Jake Steele said the pay was $400 guaranteed or you get commission which ever was higher. My second week I discovered the pay was actually $400 for your first week and then commission. He claimed he never said that but I and several other new hires all said he told us differently. I did the math to get $300 a week you had to raise either $200 a day solo or $500 if you went out with a partner. If you are going solo it is doable, however, you do not go solo often and will not until you have been there for several weeks. In the office they also don't follow covid restrictions. I made it clear in my interview that following these restrictions was important to me. The work culture is weird. While everyone is nice and supportive, it's full of toxic positivity. I was accused of being negative and toxic when I was trying to understand the pay discrepancies. Jake pulled some mlm boss babe stuff when he talked to me about it. In the field taking donations, you stand outside a retail store taking donations. I have stood in the cold for eight hours straight everyday. Breaks don't really happen. Most of the people who work here only take a break for dinner. They only take around 30 minutes. They will also go inside for quick bathroom breaks. After your eight hours in the cold, you go back to office to count your money and go over the day. So when they say 10-7 it's really 10-8. The business structure is weird. There are different levels, almost like an mlm. To my knowledge they are not. They have not asked for me to purchase a starter kit but it feels like that's not out of the question. There's something fishy going on here but I don't know what it is. I was fooled by the positive reviews here and assumed the negative were from people weren't suited to this job. I am suited for this. If you were smart enough to check the glassdoor reviews before your interview be smart enough to run. Don't work here find something else.
