Pros
Can't think of any pros, really. However, if sycophancy is your strategy to stable employment, then this could well be the place for you.
Cons
This company is based on a single premise - to copy what Infomedia did in the past, is doing presently, and is likely to do in future. The management is largely comprised of individuals ejected from Infomedia, which is why every strategy discussion, general meeting or cafetaria conversation revolves around Infomedia.
The level of paranoia is extremely high. Worse, the atmosphere is political and hostile towards any individual with a questioning mind.
There isn't any focus on talent retention, and anybody with a degree of skill and a willingness to work will quit sooner or later.
From the editorial, to marketing, design, circulation etc, every department is comprised of individuals wouldn't find employment anywhere else.
This company survives and subsists on a cuple of trade titles which inject a drip feed of revenue into the company.
