Pros
The disk storage technology and product line is competitive and has a base demand. There is a focus on quality after lagging in that area previously. Strong sense of respect towards employees, after years of trimming down and management changes. Real offices with doors, easy access to location in the prosperous Technology Park on the 40, Dorval North/DDO. Due to the small size of the company and open attitudes, there's room to develop your career, freedom to set standards, and to create new approaches. Well run meetings and focus on progress, without the less-than-meaningful daily "standups" or slavery to Jira or status reporting. Multinational teaming (US, Canada, UK) and yet local lab and team members to work with. Occasional employee events and perks like weekly St. Viateur bagels and cream cheese, 5 a 7s (happy hours), despite difficult market conditions.
Cons
Salary could be higher, but there is a decent health plan and time off. Also, see pros :-)
