Loveliest Place to Work - Senior Assistant Librarin Newton Free Library Employee Review

I really appreciated my experience as a part time employee at Newton Free Library. The position offered great access to educational materials and resources, which is great if you love arts and literature (hopefully you do if you're interested in working at a library!). The services offered at the library feature excellent programming for staff and patrons and the library takes pride in the delivery superb customer service. I personally loved the opportunity that the position offered to work with children and families in the community and felt that my work was valued and important. The city of Newton is a great place to work and live, and I would highly recommend such an opportunity to others.

-staffing can be challenging at times

Newton reads- a lot. we are the busiest single building library in the state.

City department means lots of hoops to jump through.
