Pros
The office was in a newly renovated high rise in chicago so the amenities and perks that you get for working in the building were unbelievable. The office itself was a great office. the ability to work remotely as a hybrid was very nice. I was able to visit my family in California and work so I took no PTO which was nice.
Cons
almost depression-like work culture. No one seemed to care to form relationships or even to get to know one another. Things just seemed off. the fact that everyone would complain about being cold and nothing was ever done. There was no white noise, so it was complete silence while you work. They had a great kitchen and the whole building offered social events but NewCold didnt try to get employees together to go to these. the Longer I was there and the more I saw people coming and going(High turnover rate) I began to see and hear the way people in the company treated others and communicated and it was not ok.
