Best place to work - Team Lead NewSmile Employee Review

NewSmile has a great working environment. There is always room for growth. I've been promoted twice during the 2 years I've been here. The team is reliable and supportive. I can always reach out to upper management whenever I feel stuck and will get the assistance I need right away or a meeting booked for later in the week to go over the details. NewSmile spends time developing each member, such as providing additional training from external companies so that members can get a different perspective while developing themselves.

There are not a lot of cons, to be honest. The challenges at NewSmile are the same as any other company, hard work and tasks to be completed with a deadline. The deadline is realistic, plus if you are not able to meet the deadline an extension is given along with a meeting to see where the struggle is. The only downside of working with NewSmile is that there's no vacation time off during peak season, just Christmas and New Year's Day are given.

I've previously worked for three different companies, but no doubt that NewSmile provides the best benefits even for part-time employees like me. After a probationary period, they provide paid sick and vacation time in addition to health insurance. I also enjoy getting free coffee at work. :) The thing I adore the most about them is how accommodating they are about your schedule. Some employers may give you a different schedule each week, which can be difficult for international students like me who have to work and study at the same time. Since I worked with NewSmile, I've been given a regular schedule based on my class schedule which helped me balance work and academics.

The commute to the office is challenging for me (especially during fall and winter) but the good thing is that they have a hybrid schedule so we are working from home twice a week.
