Pros

Some students were sweet but on the other hand they also are quick to complaint behind your back.

Cons

Students run the show: you are nothing but a tool. Al they care about it for students to be"happy" not about them learning and upholding high academic standards. They couldn't care less if students don't learn much as long as they like the instructor, including when they don't feel academically challenged. It was most bizarre, unfair professional experience I had. They couldn't be more stingy it the tried: no pay for preparation, assessments. Can't even be honest with it and give shady, avoiding answer as to how they expect instructors to grade weekly/biweekly assessments if they don't pay for it? There is no structure to assessments as well. The proficiency of students is so low that if the real test were to be conducted barely anybody would pass. No wonder: there is no accountability on the part of the students: no requirement for regular attendance, no requirement to do any homework. The supervisors get upset if you correct students... as if afraid of students being offended by it... Absurdity at its highest.... Obsessed about feedback from students, not interested in feedback from the instructors. Having such high expectations from instructors for humiliating pay yet they do nothing about status quo of not having a functional WiFi... I could go on and on.

Dear former instructor: I read the above. In what branch did you work. ?We pay for regular assessments after 60 days of employment. Correction is required. It is stated in our faculty guide. So is giving homework and correcting it. Again in our faculty guide. Students are required to attend 80 % of class hours. We pay on par with the industry. If you did not like the pay, why did you choose to work here?

Pros

You will quickly develop a lot of practical classroom skills. The students are (mostly) motivated and enthusiastic.

Cons

You may get assigned a class that basically has *no* curriculum, meaning you'll be devote many unpaid hours to creating lesson plans and quizzes.
