Pros

Decent to good pay Snacks and Lunch provided Regular celebration of events and festivals

Cons

Many to list, where to start? High politics insecurities internally High customer churn because of direct result of unhappy employees on floor along with other business issues. High attrition rate too Very vague direction about the vision, especially in AI. The products which they are making in AI, is more of gimik than actually solving customer problems. Micromanagement at its peak. They will force to come you to the office, and then also see what you are doing in office. Zero trust on employees and hence micromanagement. In ai They celebrate the number of tokens you consume and there is a leader board for it. Not sure why they are not able to understand that high token usage means increasing cost by this internal competition but not the output productivity. No promotions nor increments have been given to lower most employees who are actually the implementors. They promoted all the higher leadership but to junior employees they say they have financial issues.

Pros

New Relic truly walks the walk. I love that the company leans into a Challenger Mindset; it creates a dynamic where we are always improving and staying ahead of the curve. Even as a new hire, my perspective feels valued. Beyond the tech, the culture is unprecedented. Everyone is incredibly helpful and stays Accountable to one another. It’s rare to find a place that is this friendly while still maintaining a high bar for getting work done.

Cons

Still in the honeymoon phase, but navigating the vast amount of internal documentation can be a bit of a whirlwind during the first month; definitely feel like "drinking from a fire hose." While the team is supportive, the sheer volume of information can be overwhelming for a newcomer.
