      Pros

      During my employment there, HECO helped mold me to launch my own business. They care about education and help any employee who wishes to go further , even help finance it if they choose to have a career there. Many have risen to positions within the company , achieve goals they never would have. I learned so much and use many of these tools in my present business. A great experience and I am forever grateful. It is heartwarming to go to different events and see the sponsorships they do throughout the city. Best of luck to them in their future endeavors.

Our recent award from the Des Moines register, recognizing us a Top Work Place in Iowa, shows we are on the right path. We want true and honest feedback from all employees, both current and past. Open communication is the only way to solve problems, create change, and improve our relationships. We will continue to push forward. We are very proud we were able to help you get ready for your dream of owning your own business. Though we lost an incredible employee, Cedar Rapids gained one heck of a business.       Pros

      My experience at New Leader Manufacturing has been incredibly rewarding. The company has created a culture that genuinely supports professional growth and development, supported by great benefits and a profit-sharing program that makes employees feel valued and invested in the company’s success. I have full faith in the leadership and believe the individuals in leadership roles are there for the right reasons.

      I honestly cannot think of any cons to working here.

      New Leader offers great opportunities for growth for those who are driven and accountable, along with fair compensation that includes annual raises and profit sharing. Leadership holds themselves to high standards, and the work is rewarding. The company invests in employees who work hard and communicate honestly.

      Cons

      The work environment is fast-paced and can be both mentally and physically demanding. The high expectations might not be a good fit for everyone, and there are still some areas within the company that could use improvement.
