You pay for everything from insurance down to your copies and faxes. My expenses this year is around 15K: Insurance, Office Fees, Errors and ommission Insurance, Marketing, etc.
Most importantly recruiters will tell you anything to get you to come on board; they are hungery for anyone who is smart engouh to pass all the exams and stupid enough to not completly understand the compensation plan as a new represenative.
