Pros

Great direct supervisor and skilled line staff.

Cons

Absolutely terrible leadership, specifically VP and above. My personal VP used dehumanizing language to describe her team members, made racist innuendos, takes no accountability and scapegoats her team for her failures. She abuses her unlimited pto while expecting staff (who've had their pto taken away) to do her job and work 12-16 hour days while she takes three weekends nearly every week. She is clueless about the actual work that needs done because she delegates her entire job to everyone else. Her entire team is leaving in droves. We're exhausted and tired of being abused. It's not just her though, it's a theme across the company including, but not limited to human resources. People are treated as less than human. The company is crossing scary moral and ethical lines with both staff and it's members. It used to be a wonderful company and in the last few years has gone a new direction where hostility, emotional abuse, psychological abuse, and outright discrimination are the norm. If you speak up, expect retaliation. If you're considering working there, do yourself a favor and run far far away; this company will suck your soul completely bare. It's not worth it.

Pros

I always look forward to going to work at New Directions every morning. It’s a great remote job and has a career path. You definitely need to be a self starter and have the ability to navigate the computer and various platforms.

Cons

Pay is fairly moderate for what is expected of us to learn.

Pros

- Benefits were great. - Compensation - OK.

Cons

- They have horribly immature management all the way up to the CIO. - No clear direction on what the future of technology looks like for the company. - They have an overbearing CIO that most of the infrastructure team and management have major issues with. - Though there are great employees there, the talent is either suppressed by bad management decisions or is completely lacking on some teams. - Too much fighting between CIO and CISO that produces hostile work environment. - They can't keep good employees long enough. A majority of people quit within their first year. The networking team had two guys quit before they were there for 90 days and management just had to promote one of the only two network engineers left to keep him from leaving.
