Pros

- Ferociously creative and innovative team of people who care about the business. - Professionally challenging opportunities - People and Culture are the best - Among our competitors we stand out by prioritizing the customer experience - its very apparent internally and externally how much we care about the experience of our Account Holders. - The leadership team is fun, refreshing, bright, sharp, determined, and motivated. - We make positive and impactful contributions on a daily basis. Every second, every decision, every interaction, matters. -We have a CEO with a clear and transparent vision and a plan to reach that vision. He's inclusive and relies on the leaders he's surrounded himself with to help get us all there.

Cons

The leadership team didn't get new chairs in the remodel... pffff. Seriously though, our efforts to change, innovate, hold each other accountable certainly and realistically don't come without some tough moments, but I have zero criticisms that aren't naturally part of growth, success and determination. Nothing outstandingly negative or isn't just a part of doing business.

Pros

I have really enjoyed my time so far at New Direction and always feel supported by the leadership team. The CEO has made it clear that he wants people to be able to grow their careers within the company. They have done a great job of fostering an environment that welcomes new ideas and provides employees the resources they need to be successful.

Cons

This is one of the best companies I have ever worked for.

Pros

Hybrid work allows for flexibility, which is great if you have kids. The people are nice and the office is laid back (a little unusual for a bank).

Cons

There's little room for advancement, with no growth plan or upward trajectory for any position. The incompetence and insecurity at the director level ensures that no internal staff are truly ever promoted - your title may change, but the likelihood of moving up is slim. The CEO claims you can move up by creating a new position, which is an inspiring way of saying the organization is too lazy to develop positions or plans for long term employee development. The Technology/systems are clunky. Nepotism is also an issue - if you're related to or are friends with the owners, you'll have a job forever- even if you have no idea how to do your job or have no experience. If you're in with the owners, you'll probably move up.
