Pros

The building is beautiful and modern. The employees that don't have direct ties to the owner or the family are amazing.

Cons

If you do not have direct ties to the family, you are treated as an outsider. The CEO and President (wife and husband) believe they can run the US facility the same way they operate in Taiwan. They choose to ignore the fact that there are laws in the US that protect employees from many of the tactics that are used at New Deantronics. On two separate occasions the owner violated HIPAA law in front of several employees, revealing that an employee was selfish and not committed to their role because they chose to have a medical procedure performed at a time that was inconvenient to their plans for the company. During the past year, two HR professionals were hired but left their positions within several months, citing concerns about organizational practices and leadership. The owner's daughter oversees departments outside her expertise and has introduced policies that hinder their success. Then the employees are blamed for their lack of success. I would not recommend New Deantronics as a place of employment.

Nice building and employees that are NOT family!

Cons

In my opinion - The Owners- Jane & Mike as well as family members. They do not keep HR Complaints confidential. Completely unprofessional. They point fingers at others instead of looking at how they can improve. They gave annual reviews w/o a Merit increase with no communication to the employees for 6 months of whether you would receive it at all. The owners get upset when anyone asks about it - including HR and retailate. Jane rambles for 30 minutes and never answers a direct question on what she wants to see in a PP presentation. If you do not meet her expectations in the Monday meeting she embarrasses you in front of your co-workers. HR is out in cubicles so they can monitor who is coming to see them. When HR asked for an office they were told “no” as retaliation for bringing up employee complaints and that they are not important enough. They truly do not care….when HR told them morale was bad they told us that if employees do not like it or can’t get behind the “New Deantronics Way” they can leave. Simply a terrible place to work in my opinion. All above is my opinion based on the time i worked there.
