Pros

smart team passionate about education interesting challenges nice view

Cons

Younger co-founder is intelligent, but is a very bad manager. He tries to set everything up to run as much detail through him as he can handle. He is constantly shifting direction on both big and small things. It is amazing that the CEO has allowed him to stay this long.

Pros

Transitioned to virtual and have kept a pretty strong culture and commitment to mission. New leadership is really doing things the right way.

Cons

Roles will continue to shift as company changes and grows, so change is part of the game. As long as you thrive in that environment it’s great. Not all do

Pros

Peers Founders Holidays Volunteer Hours

Cons

The organization has no longitudinal data from an external evaluator to indicate that its products work. The tech department struggles every year to get its product out before the students start school in the fall, which makes the atmosphere quite toxic, as everyone is stressed.
