Chaotic, unorganized and at times, unethical . Very abusive of the fact that there are client's with real need. - Anonymous employee New Beginnings Employee Review

Pros

Working here allowed for acquirement of experience in a quick manner. Required the clinicians to be quick thinking and attempt to help the clients the best way possible.

Cons

Violations of legal and ethical regulation. Some of the workers established relationships with the clients that surpassed the dual relationship ethical code. They would use the students in manners that was unethical, from stating they provided services that they never did, to backdating notes in order to be compliant with county regulations.

Pros

When I started at NB, I couldn't have been happier. The work life balance, the mission, the pay and benefits were excellent, Now, the best things I can say are that the remote workplace and pay are still quite good for the field.

Cons

The ED and directors have quickly changed the whole culture to one of micromanaging, arbitrary performance indicators that don't have anything to do with the work, and fear. So much fear. Good advocates get sent to HR or placed on performance plans for doing what I best for the survivors. Many advocates are survivors themselves, and are in a coercive control relationship now with their employer, terrified to speak up and say anything because they will then be under scrutiny. They have bled good employees and will continue to do so.
