Pros
In my time of being there I can honestly say there is no pros in working for this corporation. Everyone is miserable and showed up just for their paychecks.
Cons
There was a lot of cons working here. It is easier if I just list them. - Super understaffed. - Had to on several occasions skip breaks because of how busy it was, management would be aware that we would do this. - Higher ups would have sporadic changes in policies seemed almost unethical to continue working for the company. - Extremely sales driven. Performance plans were given once one quarter of sales quarter were not met. - Management had little to no training on the teller side, management would just sign off on everything because they were lazy to do the research when high deposits or over-rides were needed. - Benefits for employees are a scam. The deductible for some of the plans were $4k, for medical. Vision and Dental were OK. - Hostility in the work place. Managers were reported to HR on a weekly basis almost and HR was fully aware of the harassments that would happen. - Managers had a cult like relationship, was very weird. - No room for growth. - Development is not invested in as they are short staffed, occasional one on ones but were rushed all the time. - Pay was the same for the most part, if raises were provided they were only a couple cents, never a full increment. - Clients at the bank were animalistic and demanding, the work itself would take a huge toll on your mental health. - When needed to take time off, there had to be a MONTH notice in advance minimum. - Vacation time for the whole year were supposed to be done and scheduled by the first couple weeks of that new year. - Most branches were in the ghetto areas so leaving at night was always sketchy. - You were given more responsibilities the more you learned in which were never explained to you when you were first hired. - A lot of turn over being that the branches were hostile. - Always would come into work and feel the hostility which was draining, and the same energy would be given to the clients. Overall just not a good corporation to work for. I suggest going to work for Bank of America or Chase, where not only will they pay you more, have great benefits, but there is always positions open to move up.
