Pros

This is a decent company to work for with decent pay and good benefits. Paid vacation sick days and 5% 401k match. Decent insurance as well.

Cons

My big con would be this is a family owned company and everyone was once treated as family. Within the last five years that has been rapidly changing for the worst. The main downfall comes with lower management who doesn’t treat their employees equally and tends to play favorites. The owner of the company is a great guy but isn’t filled in with all the problems that lower management creates which makes him blind to what is really going on. This is unfortunate as previously he was more informed and everything ran smoothly. As for this day and age I am not sure this is a good place to lay your roots and look for a career. There is a lot of drama and gossip that goes around sometimes untrue and that causes more drama and stress between employees. Really this all does stem from the lower and inexperienced management that runs the show the majority of the time.

Pros

Everyone working below the “leadership team” is fantastic and deserves all the praise

Cons

Everything else. The moral has never been lower, the pressure to perform never been higher, the owners temper is hotter than ever, the micromanaging is excessive, expect to be doing the work of three people with no actual support and intense, constantly changing demands with no actual internal planning beyond your own efforts. Raises never came in the past year but the workload just kept growing. It’s not uncommon to find someone hiding in an empty office crying. Also not uncommon to hear the owner screaming at someone despite the closed office door. I’m beyond glad to be gone and disappointed that I stayed as long as I did. This job put me back in therapy.
