Good Place to Get into Big Companies...You Might Start to Feel Like an Indentured Servant - Associate Packaging Engineer Network Partners Employee Review

Pros

Good place to get into large name brand companies to get a head start in your early career. Also good compensation for starting out too, felt like pay was fair, and they give a cost of living adjustment on a scale for higher COL places. Middle managers are great, very knowledgable and helpful people and I believe (at least on the packaging side) that they want to help you succeed the best they can. Training was great and very helpful getting into the program, but I know they changed what that looks like so I'm not sure about that any more.

Cons

You feel like you are being pulled around in every direction. They want you to be very flexible in living arrangements and are not very considerate of what having to arrange housing, leasing timelines, and knowing where you need to be looks like in reality. I cannot describe how stressful it is to not know where you are being placed, and being told "just get housing for another month" while they won't let you go home, or into a living situation that is conducive to your well being while you are waiting for their pipeline to produce a placement. Their expectations of you being very flexible start to feel like being taken advantage of, and as one of the clients I worked with said, "it feels like you guys are like indentured servants." So, take this job with a grain of salt.
