Pros

The products are great today but others are catching up. Hardware is better and faster than the competition. Good range.

Cons

Management ignores market needs. Customers requests fall in a black hole. Very old fashioned interface. Salary package is very poor.

Pros

Great environment. I thought in general management tried hard to make it a good place to work.

Cons

The acquisition was handled poorly by the acquiring company. No plan, poor leadership.

Pros

Some very smart, friendly people work there. The location is good if you live in the western suburbs.

Cons

A lot of people seem to be doing very little. For example, they have a huge marketing department for a company their size where not much is accomplished, and a pretty small sales staff who are under a lot of pressure. Favoritism, while nothing new, is blatant. The engineering dept has their own spacious offices but most employees are in cubes. Pervasive and consistent negative attitudes among employees creates a negative environment so interactions are tense and collaboration is just an idea, not a reality. (i.e. When asked your opinion, it's not really wanted so don't bother). Management works in a bubble and is low on social skills. Defined hierarchy with very little interaction across divides. Almost no diversity among people there.
