Pros

Time-off for family and events seemed sometimes important. There is not much else to say about this company currently.

Cons

Management is a disaster. They are very poor in salary compensation and provided no raises or room for advancement. After more than 20 years in business, they still run everything like a start-up and have not shown any room for growth because of their lack of responsibility. The software has great potential but their developers have only one goal, release software, working or not! Until they change their mindset on operations, they will not succeed and will continue to be in complete disarray.

Pros

At Netformx you can really make an impact. What you do affects customers, partners and other employees beyond what you could think of. You can really start liking what you do day in and day out and they'll give you the time and tools to be very good at it! Work hours are probably the most flexible I've ever seen, people and culture are on point, everyone is always eager to help and the solutions work. Management listens to concerns and responds slowly but surely. It's a great place to work overall!

Cons

If you're a remote employee (as was my case) you might find the need to socialize with folks at work. If there's no office to go to, you'll probably miss that professional relationship building that happens over office buddies at lunch or dinner. Other than that, Perhaps the slight disconnect between development and sales. It's understandable to a certain degree, as there is of course a need to prioritize given tight budgets and limited time, and aligning customer's requests with development work is an art form that takes years to develop. Netformx however is grasping this concept well : listening and reacting to the market transitions has allowed them to maintain their leadership position in Complex Network design efficiency and now Vendor Partner Profitability.

Pros

Over my time at Netformx, I have always enjoyed working here, but I have seen us go through cultural changes, leadership changes, single product challenges, and a lot of employee changes. However, in the last year or so, it has all been for the better. While the main product DesignXpert continues to be the staple in the industry, now there are more products available and in the pipeline that make the company no longer a one trick pony. On the product front we now have a something for everyone in the solution provider sales enablement space and all of the products focus on making our customers more profitable. Recently the company went through an overhaul of the core values to go with the cultural changes and it is easy to see they are really being embraced by the organization: Customer Service, Innovation, Teamwork, Excellence, Integrity, and Transparency. It seems like the executive team is in sync like they never were before. Everyone seems to have a voice that is welcome whether it is in support or challenging the status quo. After 6 years at this company I am finding it to be the most exciting time yet.

Cons

While we are running lean and mean, more products means more effort and resources are needed. Everyone is working at maximum capacity. So working at Netformx isn't a walk in the park. But the good news is everyone seems in it to win it.
