Pros
I've been licensed for over two years now and after having trial runs with different brokerages, I am so happy to have found NetWorth Realty. They have true and tried methods that can really help an agent learn about the world of investing while teaching you how to be a better agent when it comes to deals and maintaining professional relationships with clients who are looking to build their portfolios. I came into this completely blind and learned everything from my trainer who I spent 5 weeks with. I'm a visual learner so being with a mentor everyday and seeing what they do really helped me out. There's friendly competition within the office locations but it's not cliquey or toxic in a way that affects your business. Also, as a woman I have never felt intimidated or pressured to perform a certain way because management and my teammates are super friendly and understand the growing process. We all start the same and work our way up which doesn't have a time limit either. If you rock, they want you to grow not only as a person but as a professional and are there for you. I don't know any other national company that has their CEO just a cell phone call away. I've learned a lot here and would definitely recommend it to someone that I know is interested in getting licensed.
Cons
As an independent contractor, you have certain expectations to uphold within the company but it really is the individual maintaining their own schedule and managing their productivity. If you don't have the desire to work hard or even just be present and learn to the best of your ability, it is very easy to hit a plateau. Of course, that is decided by every individual themselves, the state of the market and experience but you're not completely left in the dust.
