      Great Company but Wrong Partners - Software Engineer NetObjex Employee Review

      Pros

      Netobjex used to be and is a company of great work culture The Management of Netobjex are great people.

      Cons

      Netobjex is a good company, but its clients and partners can be ruthless and inhuman. Problems began when NetObjex partnered with Kresus Labs, a US-based company. The Kresus Labs team exploited NetObjex and its employees severely, making them work 17-18 hours a day, including holidays, with low pay. Eventually, they laid off almost the entire team without any severance, despite a Kresus executive publicly stating that severance discussions were happening. In reality, the executive himself blocked the severance payment when the time came

As you correctly point out the issues that confronted the company were not as a result of our management team or our CEO. It was due to a poor relationship with a partner mentioned in your post. Kindly do not disapprove of our management team or CEO in your ranking as we were not at fault and made every attempt to ensure the well being of all employees. Also, kindly post comments related to partners on their Glassdoor page (or create one) because that would be the right course of action.

      Pros

      As of my career path, i have been working for several startups since they are founded and Netobjex is one of them. I can tell you, Netobjex is a great startup with solid visions and technologies. Great benefits that can keep your mind in peace and provide very good environment for employees, engineers to develop their skills and enough fun so that they can still enjoy while working here.

      Fast pace, and sometimes up and down as part of startup nature

      Pros

      - Highly collaborative start-up environment - CEO, Raghu is a truthful person, delivers on his promises, and cares about his customers and employees - IoT/ M2M are buzzwords, it's about what problems you can solve for your customers in this digital age. It's this consultative approach of Raghu's coupled with all the technologies he and his engineers have built will make NetObjex a force to reckon with in the future - Great benefits: both time-off and health - Great marketing and good team and CEO that know how to create buzz around their prototypes and solutions. (Just google NetObjex)

      Cons

      - Location in Irvine. Had this company been in the Bay Area, man it would have gotten so much attention both from a funding and marketing standpoint - Lack of structure and process across various groups within the company. But it's what you come to expect at a start-up. Hopefully, they can improve as they grow
