Pros

Welcoming team; the team has a generally close-knit feel. Many colleagues are talented, hardworking, and genuinely committed to doing good work. Plenty of opportunities to learn and grow, no matter your role or level. The People & Culture team organizes fun events and free lunches throughout the year Reasonable hybrid work model (two days in-office, three days remote). Depending on your manager, there is some flexibility if anything comes up. Standard 9-to-5 schedule with an overall reasonable work-life balance, though when it is busy it can become very overwhelming. In-office days are relatively relaxed—most people leave by 4:30-4:45p, and the office is nearly empty by 5. Decent PTO and health benefits. The CEO is a visionary and highly intelligent; my interactions with him were generally positive. Overall, leadership has good intentions for the company’s success, but execution and decision-making often fall short

Cons

Leadership largely operates with an antiquated mindset, relying heavily on micromanagement. Issues are repeatedly discussed but rarely resolved (too many decision makers with too many opinions). The COO’s leadership style creates a tense work environment, setting the tone for the rest of the company. She often relies on intimidation, has been known to raise her voice at employees, and has left multiple team members feeling distressed. Constant employee exits, firings, and new hires create instability, making it hard to build strong processes or maintain continuity. The interview process is unclear, overly long, and judgmental—especially toward women. My experience felt disorganized with last-minute in-person requests, long gaps in communication, and no clear structure, making it difficult to prepare. Constant client churn creates instability and uncertainty/fear among employees. The Head of People & Culture struggles with retention and has a micromanaging, disorganized leadership style that creates a stressful work environment. Employees should be cautious when seeking support, as it may backfire. The office can be disruptive, making it hard to focus, and conference rooms are difficult to secure for client calls.
