Pros

Good increment but no amount of money is worth sacrificing your mental health

Cons

The management here are very good at acting "charming". Good thing is, their actions speak louder than their words. The HR is married to one of the management person. And the management here loves to do power harassment/bullying to employees by completely ignoring what's happening on the operation floor, micromanaging or throw the employees under the bus whenever it conveniences them. Higher management sees no "conflict of interest" at all with the married couple, and blamed the employees for not bringing up any issues to the HR. So it's a never ending cycle of being harassed by your immediate superior, you bring the issue to someone in higher management but they also love to minimise/dismiss your issue eventhough it's affecting a lot of employees. HR is not an option, how can you trust the spouse of someone who is harassing and purposely making your work life miserable. If they do take action, it's usually meaningless performative actions that are not effective. Only for them to "praise themselves" that they took action. They prefer to punish the whole team instead of taking disciplinary action against the problematic employee. Therefore, this company is a safe haven for problematic, rude or selfish employees. FYI, 10 out of around 40 members of this team resigned in 2022. Very high turnover rate for a long time but as usual, there's no genuine accountability by the management. Love yourself and don't ever join this XOC team.

Pros

Salary is paid on time

Cons

The company has its strengths, but the unfair treatment between teams is obvious god. Differences in salary (even for the same or lower job levels), WFH privileges, service recognition, and leave approvals are hard to ignore. Keep this in mind for those working in a shift schedule or planning to. You have agreed to work as a shift member, so please don’t be so entitled when you can’t take leave during a public holiday. Grow up. Some teams/persons are allowed repeated or extended leave, easy EL or half-day leave, and even receive extra leave after replacement duties while still claiming OT or replacement payments, while others are not given the same flexibility. UL is still granted to probation employees without valid or critical reasons. Regardless of whether this is due to individual leaders' decisions, stronger governance and involvement from senior management are clearly needed. Basic workplace rules are also enforced inconsistently. For example, restrictions on bringing bags into the room make little sense when some employees are allowed to bring them in to unpack and others are not. If rules exist, they should apply to everyone equally. This inconsistency affects morale and trust in management.

Pros

A lot of snack and beverage. that's all. They should open a cafe rather than being in IT business.

Cons

Working with a supervisor who don't have any experience and knowledge about IT was a nightmare. It's still a mystery how this kind of creature get promoted to lead an IT team. Imagine someone without any basic IT support and no education background or experience in IT give you headache everyday with foolish expectation, stupid questions, delegate all his task to you while he spend his day licking the management boot. It was a disaster when no action was taken to this creature even there were many complaints against him.
