Pros

- Flexible work week with remote working options - Passionate, intelligent and motivated employees that believe in the potential of the company - Thorough recruitment and on-boarding process - Fantastic products - Great benefits plan including free products and 50% friends&family discount, extended health&dental, RRSP matching - Perks: team-building events and lunches, dog friendly office, staff library for self-improvement and growth, healthy snacks, teas and coffee - Feels like a family

Cons

Though intentions are good, junior/inexperienced executive and senior management with low EQ unfortunately results in reactive decision making and instability versus long term planning with a strong foundation & clear direction. - Turnover is high - Micromanagement from C-level - Inconsistent communication approach and poor change management breeds mistrust and confusion, especially for more junior staff

Pros

Tons of opportunities to learn and understand what it takes to successfully grow a company from all directions. I've had the freedom to design tests from growing our customer base, improve site experience, and even what new products to launch. Positions are fully remote and flexible with time zones. Management listens to differing opinions.

Cons

The company is in a growth phase so there are a lot of projects happening simultaneously so sometimes it can feel like it's a lot. I have been able to push back on timelines when things get to be too much and management has been receptive to that.
