Pros

Absolutely none for this bad company

Cons

This is the absolute WORST company I have ever worked for! The leadership team only wants to control your EVERY move. They do not care about their employees, or their patients. All they care about is making money. They force the consultants to be in back to back appointments all day because they literally can’t afford to pay the bills if they don’t. The company is struggling so bad financially that anytime someone leaves they just pile their work onto the other employees because they can’t afford to replace them. The CEO is a horrible person who lets upper management control her, and she doesn’t speak up for herself. The company has gone WAY downhill since the original owner left a year ago. The HR department is a joke. Anytime you go to them and tell them how bad things are, and how badly you’re being treated by upper management, they don’t do anything about it. They just take notes and say they’ll follow up with you but never do. The micromanagement is absolutely ridiculous!!! I have never worked for such a terrible company. They won’t last long so just RUN!!

Pros

Love being able to help so many families. Really feels like a collaborative team, which is rare for a WFH position. Leadership is responsive and supportive.

Cons

Days can be super busy seeing a lot of patients, which might take some getting used to.

Pros

Helping families in need of lactation care with telehealth

Cons

Nest has constant turn over, with IBCLC's, management, CEO's etc. Nest does not value their IBCLC's. They are constantly making changes that create a negative experience for both the IBCLC's and the patients. The IBCLC's are told with very minimal warning about big changes in the way they are to care for their patients. 30 minutes is not enough time to provide needed care for new patients, so follow up appointments are strongly encouraged and you will be penalized if you have a low follow up rate. IBCLC's work hard to provide the best care under a huge time crunch with trying to review the history, care for the patient, and chart, before the next back to back appointments. All of this for the little pay. Your job is not safe at Nest. There are constant changes, and demands made, and if you are not a pushover or passive person, you will be forced to leave once you become aware of this behavior. Management does not have your back. It is all a fake facade. The IBCLC's however are amazing, and do a wonderful job. You will not get the respect, and pay that you deserve by working for Nest. The very rare and infrequent feedback that is requested is not addressed.
