Pros

Great potential for growth Great mission Hybrid mode

Cons

-Cannot take more than 2 weeks of vacation -No transparency -The lady that does the payroll ( J) is checking what time people come in and what they're doing even though she's not a manager nor their manager -They promote unlimited sick days but in fact it's not true it's limited -The HR director is not human and people fear her -No communication with teams

Pros

Respectful people. Lots of people from various backgrounds. Lots of opportunities and openings. You can manifest your interest for a position and most likely they will train you there. If you have little to no experience, this can be a good place to learn. A lot of microbiology to be learned, Great expertise in chemistry. I think the variety of techniques and technologies used in this lab is very broad and learning here will give you a strong base. Human resources are 2 people, you can just ask them for the list of open positions and they will list them to you with the schedules attached to them. They are open to flexible schedules, but that is to be discussed with your supervisor after earning your place.

Cons

23-25$ if you're a lab tech. Job benefits are very minimal (blue cross dental and meds). Stingy lab and direction. 1-2h of overtime daily, which I do not enjoy. It is a byproduct of deficient schedule design and distribution of talent in the lab. There's no such thing as working a double shift here, but you leave once all is done and volume of work will dictate how long you stay.

Pros

Fast-paced environment where self learning is encouraged. You will learn in a small amount of time, which is good for gaining experience,

Cons

Inexperienced micro middle managers lacking industry and supervisory experience ( GMP) The basic lab tools provided by upper management are outdated , compared to up and coming and seasoned research labs, Issue with micromanagement and some rude personnel. An incompetent instrumentation and IT staff who can’t fix simple equipment and minor issues
