HR is useless - Anonymous employee Neogen Employee Review

When I first started at Neogen, management treated everyone with respect/ valued employees and their input. Once Mr. Herbert retired, everything turned to crap. It got REALLY bad during Covid. Any manager that was decent left. They hired a miserable tyrant that had no clue on how to treat employees with decades of experience. She bullied supervisors until they quit. Tried to bully all long term employees. Anytime we would complain to HR….they were like deer caught in headlights. Nothing would be done. They would tell us ‘the situation was handled’. But nothing would change. I finally got out when the manager said, ‘if you don’t like it, find something else!’ It took a few months, but I did. $12k increase in pay. Ironic thing is, I never would have even looked had the management style and culture remained the same. Apparently, they do not have any qualms about high turn over.
