Pros

- Good Salary Hike Only on Joining. - Salary is on time. No delays. - Interview process is pretty fast (Or at least in my case.) - Easy Interview

Cons

There are lots of cons to working at NeoSoft. Let's start with the interview. - The HR will not tell you about the bond they have during the interview until you get selected and arrives at the office on joining day. At this time, they will tell you that you will have to sign an employment bond of 1 Lakh rupees which you will have to pay if you leave the organization before 18 months. - The HR will not tell you about Client Side On Location Work. Once you get selected as an experienced developer, there is a 90% chance that you will be sent to client-side work. I asked during the interview if I need to go to the client-side or I will have to work at the office for the client and she assured me that it will be from the in-office but exactly the opposite happened. Now, it can happen that you might be living in New Mumbai and the client could be Malad. (You've to figure out about traveling) - They only give a travelling allowance for second class train passes. You are not allowed to travel in first class for the work you actually doing for them. Shame on you NeoSoft for this. - They have a sandwich rule concept. If you take a leave on Friday and Monday, a total of 4 leaves will be counted. Again pathetic policy to harass employe. - They have a flash leave policy. if you take leave without notifying them, a flash leave will be considered and two days of salary will be deducted. This happens with almost every employee at least once. So better to consider 2 leaves less than you've got. - After the bond period gets over, you will be eligible for appraisal, but here once again we will come to know the surprise. You will have to sign a bond again if you want to get a good hike. e.g 15-20%. If you opt-out from the bond then the default hike is 3000 no matter how much good you are performing. Your performance does not have anything with your aprisal. Just sign a bond and get a hike. - Their notice period is 3 months but they want you to join in 15 days or so. If you decide to leave the organization after your bond period is over and you send a resignation then your salary in which you sent the resignation will be blocked for a total of 6 months. You will get FNF after 3rd month of leaving this organization. Even if they say 3 months take for FNF, it will take around 4 months to get your 6 months ago blocked salary. - Here comes the surprise. They have a concept of variable, if you are offered a CTC of 7 lakh PA then somewhere around 3K will be deducted from your salary monthly and it will be paid (36,000 INR) to you after you complete your bond period. The next variable will be paid after a year or you have once again opted for a bond then when that bond gets over then you will receive the next variable amount. Also, the variable amount gets increased as your salary increased. The surprise is, if you decide to leave the organization before your variable cycle completes, you will not receive the variable amount. I am pretty sure almost every person falls under this and loses around 30-50K due to this policy. These things will be known to you when you leave the organization and do calculations. They never tell this to you upfront. - Last but not least, if you an experienced developer for more than 2 yrs then I would suggest you stay away from such organizations and try your luck somewhere else. Hope this helps others so they do not go through what I have gone through.

Thanks for your review. But don't post wrong things, we are a 3000+ people company, we have very clear & transparent policies which are 100% same as any other IT service based company in India. There are thousands of Banks / NBFC / Insurance / etc. critical projects going on in our industry which needs people onsite ONLY. So, is this exception in our industry? And, it has been very clearly defined in offer letter - whatever policies are there. If you have missed that then i don’t think we are at fault. Again, these are very basic & standard policies – like client side work, no company gives TA for travelling in same city, PLI / Bonus payable at end of year, etc. So, before posting such review, please go through policies of top 5 IT companies of India & then do comparision.
