In Qliro, it's all about who you know, while some people advance because of their talent, other people advance because they're favorites of the upper management. Decisions are taken in the firm in blind panic, there's almost never any thought about the future, most decisions are only taken for the present, to plug a leak for the time being, as to what will happen in the future, that's easy, it will be taken care of in the future, no matter how catastrophic the consequence may be. There's a mass hiring of people in upper management happening and lots of heads of this and that, but the titles don't actually mean much. They're mostly there to act important and take "important" decisions. There's a real sense of arrogance among the upper management, with them assuming that regardless of how insensible we know their decision is, we would happily jump aboard their crazy train. As an employee, you are not really valued, there's a lot of empty awards 'Employee of the month', 'employee of the year' (this award is almost always won by one person), but they don't translate to anything tangible. As an employee, there is never any discussion about what you expect from the company, no training when you join, salary is less than industry standards, if you ever dare to disagree or have a different opinion to that of the management (not just upper management, just any person with the word 'head' in the title) it's considered a grave sin. It's almost always their way or the highway.
