Pros
The culture, and the people who actually work there are awesome. It made the job fun. It's nice when you have a good surrounding environment, makes you excited to go in and see your coworkers.
Cons
Micro management, forced OT without your consent, strict policies. When I was hired I was told "there was a strict no OT policy," and "we don't micro manage our employees." All of this was a straight up lie. Not only were both of those false, but the lack of communication with management and their employees is minimal. Half the time I was scheduled to work OT, I wasn't even sent an email or told that I was working overtime until the day of. They also say they don't micro manage, yet you have weekly status meetings with your supervisor, where in that meeting you're evaluated under a tight microscope. I've worked in tons of call centers before and have never been micro managed this much. It adds a ton of pressure onto the employee that's unnecessary. I ended up resigning because they wanted to fire me over a customer issue. I was being yelled and cussed at, so I disconnected the call politely. Apparently Neiman Marcus expects you to tolerate being yelled at my rich people over the phone.
