Pros

-They offer a pretty good employee discount -On top of the regular discount they have times where they have promotions when you double on discounts -Luxury Brand Recognition

Cons

-People on commission can become very desperate -In some departments the associates end up owing the company money because that's how many returns the store gets, many times they take anything back even when worn or damaged -It is very sad to see people work over 80 hrs in a pay period and still owe the company money out of their paycheck due to the amount of returns that outweigh sales -Many managers do not want to do their job, and spend most of their day talking to their colleagues -The location where I worked at the department manager was extremely rude to her associates and the customers, which is ultimately why I left -When I was hired I was told many things that were encouraging, but once I started it was a totally different story, I saw a very BAD side to NM that was very shocking -Benefits are not good either anymore (they were recently changed) & leave A LOT to be desired -Even though many would assume different based on their so-called image, there are MUCH better retailers to work for

Pros

* If you have an amazing team and management the day goes by fast. * Commission. * Easy to rely on foot traffic to meet goals. * If you ask for growth, they set thing ups that align with what you want, you just need to ask.

Cons

* If its slow, its SLOW. * There can be drama, it just depends on the department you're in.

Pros

good pay, good retired tech/fashion prop sales, hour long lunches

Cons

terrible work environment with whole bunch of eating disorder talk and projection at models (even from some management), management makes everyone stay until 4:30 even when all the minimum work requirement (and oftentimes more) is done, they will write you up for something extremely small then dismiss a big thing from another employee, terrible communication between managers therefore terrible communication to employees, employees get publicly ridiculed when they're just asking questions even amidst the terrible communication issues that are already there,
