Pros
I am very happy with my overall experience at NeighborCity. I enjoy the team-based environment and the job is gratifying. I like the people I work with and I am learning on a daily basis. NeighborCity is a smaller startup and as a result, there are high expectations and you are held responsible for your own work. This is actually very appealing to me, and one of the main reasons I decided to leave my old corporate job. I am an active contributor to the company, I see the value in and results of my own work, and my opinion matters. I feel well supported by the management. There is frequent training and we are provided with the necessary guidance and support to succeed. To the reviewer who said that there is no work/life balance: I strongly disagree. While we all work hard during the day, you go home at a reasonable hour and are not required to do work outside of the office.
Cons
It could be perceived as a higher stress/demanding job - don't join if you are interested in taking a backseat approach and not performing daily.
