Pros

There are absolutely no pros to working for this company

Cons

Everything is a con! The pay is terrible, the Area Managers are a joke and have no idea what they are doing, ever! The owner buys properties that should be condemned and slaps some paint on them and calls it good. They have champagne taste on a cheap beer budget. They treat their employees like dirt no wonder they can't keep a staff for longer than a month! If your looking for a job or a place to live stay away from anything run by The Neiders Company!!

Pros

Increased PTO with longevity, paperless properties

Cons

I worked for [Company Name] for [X years], and unfortunately, the experience highlighted deep structural problems that go beyond just one location or role. The regional leadership routinely used unprofessional and abusive behavior. Managers frequently used physical "jokes" (e.g., hitting employees) and verbally abusive language. Complaints about this conduct — along with persistent favoritism and retaliation — were ignored. Operationally, the company is critically understaffed. One manager was expected to oversee seven properties across multiple states with little support. Corporate oversight is minimal — Operations Managers reportedly visit properties only once every 5–10 years, which leaves staff and residents without needed guidance or accountability. Health and safety violations are routine. Mold exposure is common due to poor maintenance coverage and a lack of training. The health departments in multiple counties have been involved, and fines have been issued to the company for failure to comply with standards. Despite staff repeatedly asking for better training, maintenance personnel receive only a handful of basic, repetitive classes per year. If you're considering working here, know that you may be stepping into a poorly supported, potentially hazardous work environment. For the sake of future employees and residents, I hope the company begins taking its responsibilities more seriously. Additionally, if you are considering living at a property and get a discount like many other property management companies, they don’t let you live on your site and only one employee can have a discount per property.
