Pros

Work from home and the eventually provide you with the equipment.

Neal Consulting/Quad Group completely build up your expectations, only to smash you down after a few weeks of employment to fire you. This seems to be a pattern. Please watch out. You will not last with these guys, and don’t be fooled by their rubbish justifications for removing you from their employ. They promise adequate training and learning time prior to projects, only to later pile on pressure for appointments to be set and to generate new business leads. The appointments are expected to roll in immediately after being briefed on a project with the expectation for full Client Relationship Management to be completed within the first call with new prospects. Given the current climate with Covid-19, this expectation seems to be a little excessive and slightly unrealistic due to the fall in various verticals in the business industry at the moment. However, you can make you own decision about that. They tell you to build a brand-new pipeline from scratch, which is fine, but they expect immediate appointments from essentially stone-cold leads. They do not allow the time for you to build relationships with these prospective clients to book appointments appropriately. The level of quality assurance on the example calls provided for us to learn from were poor to say the least, and shouldn't have been approved as a qualified call to a prospect. The calls are the team at The Quad Group/Neal Consulting simply bulldozing people in to agreeing to an appointment which is not business development. It can sometimes feel as though you are working in a micromanaged environment, with the calls you get from them twice a day, to check in on how you’re doing, which to some people can be nice, but for most part, it simply adds to the workplace pressure mentioned before. It honestly feels like we were used for a few new qualified leads to make the lives of the seemingly more permanent members of staff to feast upon. They also monitor everything that you are doing remotely which shows a lack of trust that they have with their employees, making the employee feel like they are being watched every minute of the day, further adding to workplace stress. It's a real shame. Upon further research into the business, they seem to only employ people for an extremely short period of time before the conversation happens where they feel that ‘we should call it a day' out of nowhere. They seemed to be a nice company at first, until the experience does a full 180°. They will literally snap at you, or use a sense of humour which is neither deadpan or sarcastic, which is what I think that they all aim for at the company. Instead, it appears to be petulant and simply rude at times. As soon as you’ve been told that they are ‘calling it a day” they will literally control the laptop remotely and shut it down out of nowhere. The lack of respect given was astonishing. It’s upsetting that people and companies behave in such a manner, even in today’s climate. I recommend that people stay away from this company due to the quick turnover of staff and quite frankly the emotional stress that is inflicted on the individual, who is sacked with no real reason as to why, and given no indication of the decision throughout the time of employment. Given the current climate, this is simply taking advantage of the individuals who are desperately trying to make a living, and are simply being prey upon by predators such as Neal Consulting/Quad Group. They are also quite a mysterious company where they seem to be the subsidiary of an umbrella group called The Quad Group. Pros

Give you a laptop, one hour lunch break , good commission

Cons

Micro managed, they gain access to your personal social media and watch it incase you look for another job. You can be a top hitter at this company but if you at any point think about another job be careful. They watch your personnel social media and even read your messages. They say they can do this however they cannot. Very much a place if your face does not fit then they out you regardless of performance. I out performed their so called big hitters from day one but it was not good enough and received an email to say my contract was terminated with immediate effect. They don't even call you to let you go. You think your doing well and all is fine and then all of a sudden they pull the rug from under you. You have to train yourself. They give you client and about 2 hours to learn it, then your on the phone and very much on your own. If you start doing well it rubs up the so called big deals their and they want you out for making them look bad. All in all a very odd company to work for.

Pros

onboarding process was simple enough and CRM system easy to use

Cons

1)There is a consistent pattern of firing new starters before they complete a month's service 2) you are watched and monitored via your laptop 24/7 even during your lunch break 3) managers are more concerned about quantity over quality. God forbid you miss your KPI target for the day because you have had a good but long call with a prospect that resulted in a booked appointment (that's your job) 4)The salary displayed on Indeed/Reed job ads isn't correct. Your earnings will be low- basic £24k annual salary and £75 per appointment that takes place. You are of course not entitled to any commission if you are dismissed in your 6 month probationary period
