Pros

COVID has forced a lot of companies to show their true colors. I have watched my friends and family have a lot different experience with their companies than I have at Naylor. From the beginning, our leadership was ahead of the curve in getting our entire workforce working remotely back in March. They surveyed all of us to find out what WE are comfortable doing when it comes to returning to the office. Our CEO has had countless town hall calls to be as transparent as possible about how the company will be navigating these unprecedented times and it was always communicated that the steps taken were in the best interest of employees and their health. There has been no pressure on anyone to do anything that makes them feel unsafe. I'm very grateful to be at Naylor.

Cons

Naylor has not been immune to necessary changes needed to get through this year. Some of these changes have been hard, but unavoidable.

Pros

- Management knows what they're doing and does a good job at getting interdepartmental projects done smartly - Lots of vacation time - Very good about remote work flexibility

Cons

- Annual performance reviews & raises were not a standardized company process during my time there. Raises were at the discretion of your direct manager - Smaller company means health insurance was lackluster. Would not recommend joining unless you can be on your spouse's health insurance coverage

Thank you for sharing your feedback and noting positives like project management, vacation time, and remote flexibility. Regarding performance reviews and raises, we follow a standardized annual review process. It’s possible there was a one-off where a review wasn’t completed during your 1–2 years with us, but consistency remains a priority. Providing the best benefits possible to employees and their families is always important to us. Healthcare changes nationwide have impacted small and mid-sized businesses like Naylor, but we strive to offer strong options while keeping them affordable. We did notice the job title and location listed don’t align with our records, making it hard to confirm context and focus on any specific concerns you mentioned. More detailed feedback would help us address concerns effectively, and we encourage employees to share issues with HR during their tenure. Your feedback is valued, and we wish you success in all your future pursuits.

Pros

The office building was fine, good light and reasonable parking.

Cons

• The management team was packed with people who seemed to get promoted because they were favored, not because they had any qualifications to lead. • Getting a clear answer about priorities or direction was nearly impossible because the people making decisions appeared completely disconnected from the work itself. • Every meeting felt like watching unprepared leaders stumble through problems far beyond their capabilities, and the most frustrating part was knowing those same people would likely be rewarded with even more authority. • Strategy changed constantly, decisions were overturned without explanation, employees were shuffled into roles they were unprepared for, and no one was ever held accountable. • The entire organization was consumed by uncertainty because the dysfunction started at the top and spread into every corner of the business. • It took less than a week to see how deeply broken the structure really was.
