Pros

Navy Exchange is a shopping mall catering to the military and their family members. No sales tax on their merchandise. Customers are great and appreciate this benefit.

Cons

Management does not know how to manage. The pay is terrible for the amount of work that is expected of you. If everyone pitched in, it would be helpful and take some of the burden off the associates. Since there is always a skelton crew, management needs to get out of their offices.

Pros

- Job itself is quite easy - Don't have to deal with full public - Health benefits are nice - Get access to tax free product. - Very generous time off/sick time compared to other companies

Cons

- Management can be difficult to work with and seems inexperience in the technology that the workers are using to do their jobs. - registers, scanner guns, payroll software, store technology in general feels very outdated by todays standers and make it difficult to do my job. -Taking time off is difficult because of how poor management is with operating payroll software. - Hardly any training for new staff. - People that need to be fired aren't let go, but people that do a good job leave because management doesn't do anything about it except file a report. - Constant rotating staff that seems to be never questioned why they're leaving. - Pay is insulting compared to other companies.
