Pros

I was offered pretty good benefits considering I was only part-time. It included vacation days, sick leave, holiday pay, dental and medical insurance. Our general manager was fair and would listen to any comment you needed to make.

Cons

I was a cashier and mind you, this may just apply with the store I worked for. People would resign and my managers wouldn't fill up the spots in a proper amount of time nor increase everyone's hours. We had gone from 30+ hour weeks to 20-25 hour weeks so we wouldn't mind working more hours. I guess this was their way to save money, I don't know their logic. But we ended up understaffed which frustrated us cashiers and the customers as well who wondered why the lines are so long. I always felt like there was some management that would throw you under the bus. They had a tendency of filling positions without allowing people to know that a position was open to apply for. They claim they were just filling it for the time being but was going to interview people for the position later.

Pros

- Job itself is quite easy - Don't have to deal with full public - Health benefits are nice - Get access to tax free product. - Very generous time off/sick time compared to other companies

Cons

- Management can be difficult to work with and seems inexperience in the technology that the workers are using to do their jobs. - registers, scanner guns, payroll software, store technology in general feels very outdated by todays standers and make it difficult to do my job. -Taking time off is difficult because of how poor management is with operating payroll software. - Hardly any training for new staff. - People that need to be fired aren't let go, but people that do a good job leave because management doesn't do anything about it except file a report. - Constant rotating staff that seems to be never questioned why they're leaving. - Pay is insulting compared to other companies.
