Pros

Company is doing well + growing fast Tech is good, we're on the bleeding edge of AI + ML Company brand + marketing is on point

Cons

Work-Life Balance. * Manager is working 12+ hour days and sometimes weekends. I somehow manage to claw out a standard 40 hour work week, but I fear that may change soon * On-Call required but not stated on job description or mentioned in interviews stated Poor Management * Company laid off 5% of staff after our best quarter ever. What a waste of good talent... they're gonna have to spend loads of money finding + training replacements once the company continues growing * Incompetent designers frequently lead to simple design changes taking weeks to implement. * Manager has zero planning + estimation skills, and refuses to allow us to spend any time on planning/estimation * Team has no product manager, leading to every single request being prioritized based not on value add but instead on how pushy its stakeholder is

Pros

Fast paced, plenty of room and opportunity to grow. Very good starting pay and ability to earn bonuses. Many remote work options. Strong culture and supportive leadership, with fun company events (like the Christmas party) that help people feel connected, even for the many remote employees.

Cons

The pre‑hire assessment is very strict and pass/fail. I’ve referred strong, experienced candidates who I know are good workers, but they did not pass the test and were not given the opportunity to move forward. It feels like the process may screen out some high‑potential talent who could otherwise thrive here.
