Pros

Smart, Driven People - At TripActions, you're surrounded by smart, driven people you will grow with every day. I have mentors and peers I rely on and learn from throughout multiple departments and multiple office locations in this company. Spending time with these people is making me a better human being. Collaborative and Competitive - My peers are raising the bar every day, and it pushes me to bring out my best and compete with them. Although everyone is driven to succeed and be the best, we're constantly sharing best practices, collaborating on initiatives, and investing in each other's success. Meritocracy - Promotion pathing and career growth is based on measurable outputs, and there are clear-cut criteria for achieving a promotion. Internal promotions are encouraged and happening constantly. Intellectually Exciting - You're part of a business that is aggressively changing and adapting to take down a massive market, and take the company to a new level. In facing challenges or aggressive new initiatives, you're challenged every day to better yourself. Product-Market Fit - We have (by far) the best product in the market that continues to adapt and improve for our customers. Business Outlook - During the pandemic, TripActions furthered it's investment in our product and our sales org's enablement. We onboarded thousands of new customers, made strategic acquisitions, and drastically improved our products with our eyes on the return to travel post-covid. TripActions revenues are achieving new records month over month as more and more companies are getting back on the road. Travel is back! (and have evolved) - With so many companies hiring remotely during the pandemic, they now face the challenge of building culture and developing relationships. The best way to do that is by getting in person for company all-hands events and regional team/department offsites. The travel environment for businesses has changed, and we strategically positioned our product and sales org to take the market. This is the moment I've been looking forward to for the past 2 years.

Cons

Rapid change can cause fatigue - This is not the place to come for a comfortable, cushy, slow-paced. There's always more to do and optimize. Work-life balance is yours to create and maintain. Know how to prioritize, and know how to set boundaries.

Pros

Competitive compensation and strong benefits package. The coworkers and frontline teams are one of the company’s greatest strengths many are incredibly hardworking, supportive, and committed to helping both customers and teammates succeed.

Cons

Significant operational gaps continue to impact efficiency and employee experience. Reporting systems and workforce planning frequently feel disconnected from the realities of day-to-day operations. Employees and leaders are often expected to be accountable for metrics without reliable reporting or clear guidance on how those metrics are measured. Workload distribution can feel inconsistent, creating an environment where some teams and managers become overextended while others are underutilized. This contributes to burnout, frustration, and a lack of confidence in operational decision-making.
