Pros

My immediate teams were collaborative across the various Security disciplines and we worked well together for the most part

Cons

Absolutely pathetic 'C level' who runs the 'Security' domain focused on her Ego & Pride. She will sink this ship at the blink of an eye if the Founders do not step in and fix or simply get rid of this baggage. Her only POV is to dismantle you with every conversation so she can show who is clearly in charge. With this attitude and Mentality, NO ONE will get ahead. Lacks common sensibilities and demonstrates absolutely NO respect for your views. I strongly suspect the other Team members will look to quit under her (lack of) Leadership. I am forced to give 1 star, however this is a ZERO star outfit. Sadly, the founders are all too aware of this BS and will not do a thing but continue to support her :( and watch others more deserving simply quit.

We appreciate your feedback and communicating with candor, I have read and taken this review into consideration. Every manager has their own style of leadership and I am sorry to hear that in this case, there was not a successful connection between you and your manager. Based on the very low attrition within this department, it makes me feel even stronger about the importance of working with managers and teammates to develop those strong and prosperous relationships. Regardless, I am sure that you are coming from a good place and that everything you said, you mean. It is not always easy to go through transition periods with team leadership and that experience can be challenging for some, though temporary. We have now put that transitional period behind us and we are very excited to have recently brought on our new CISO, who is leading this org and seeing some exceptional results. We feel extremely confident in the continued success of this team. As a leadership team at TripActions, we are always looking to keep all of our employees engaged and heard. Showing respect as well as having an environment of transparent and collaborative communication is an integral part of our company culture. I wish you a lot of luck with the next company and the next manager. I am sorry that it did not work out for you here.

Lots of opportunity for advancement, pay compensation, mentor opportunities, great work environment, diversity and equality.

Cons

notice of sick time usage for it to count as Excused Absence, the ability to trade shifts as all U.S. based workers work Monday thru Friday with the earliest shist starting at 8 am and the latest starting at 12 pm CST

Pros

Fast paced, plenty of room and opportunity to grow. Very good starting pay and ability to earn bonuses. Many remote work options. Strong culture and supportive leadership, with fun company events (like the Christmas party) that help people feel connected, even for the many remote employees.

Cons

The pre‑hire assessment is very strict and pass/fail. I’ve referred strong, experienced candidates who I know are good workers, but they did not pass the test and were not given the opportunity to move forward. It feels like the process may screen out some high‑potential talent who could otherwise thrive here.
