Pros

Great place to work if you want to be outside with kids and like to teach! Lots of freedom in planning activities. Staff housing is provided. Mostly consistent work with some opportunities to delve into other departments.

Cons

The voices of negative educators are louder than the voices of happy ones. It can be challenging to find peace and rest at home when you live in the same community with a coworker who is unhappy. Pay could be better, but this is true for most jobs in this field.

Pros

Don't have to sleep in-cabin, reasonable work hours, mostly good housing options (some not so great), retains experienced educators and management, of course the location and access to outdoors. Gear shared with employees. Learn from coworkers about awesome spots. Great job to have if you want to live in the park. Freedom with curriculum.

Cons

Pay still isn't much in the grand scheme of things (may have changed in years since I worked there). Lots of teaching private school students which doesn't always feel equitable, but that's more of a system issue than specific to any outdoor ed org or company. Only a few positions for upward mobility.
