      Missing the old native camp and staff' - English Teacher Native Camp Employee Review

      Pros

      I have been working in this company for quite 6 years. I have already met the old and new Japanese staff. I am satisfied with the incentives they offer and giving us a competitive salary depending on your performance. Staffs are polite and most students are kind.

      Cons

      I have met a lot of students with diverse backgrounds who would just give you random ratings depending on their mood. They should be strictly monitored in order to deliver efficient and effective lessons. The company must also have team-building activities for us teachers to get along well with one another or even to know new teachers.

      Pros

      Job opportunity for people who don't have a degree. They supply videos for you to familiarize yourself with the different lessons. Their communication has a quick turnaround.

      Cons

      Videos cannot actually prepare you for doing the actual lessons. Some sort of interactive system is needed to prepare teachers better for conducting the actual lessons. Communication method on the interface is a bit confusing - I cannot see which messages are unread-even when I toggle the icon to "unread messages"

      Pros

      1. Very flexible platform 2. No minimum hours required 3. mostly polite students 4. lesson material provided

      Cons

      1. The salary is pathetic and it is a shame they are still paying that same rate since they started. 2. They recently introduced a feature where you can adjust your rate but the requirements you should meet first are almost impossible to achieve. 3. very long waiting hours, too many teachers, very few students 4. a biased rating system that punishes teachers
