      Pros

      - I don't have any ESL teaching experience but NC is generous enough to give me a chance to learn and teach at the same time. I am grateful for the chance they have given me. Definitely, reccommendable for first timers. - The company is strict when it comes to conduct and internet connection but gives their teachers multiple chances to improve what needs to be improved. As a matter of fact, in my 1 year tenure I've been deactivated for 4 times already mostly because of poor internet connection. How generous is that! lol - I've noticed new kinds of incentives and salary rates recently. Of course, the old teachers are to benefit mostly but we can't blame the management since like any other ESL companies, they are also performance-based. - They have their own teaching platform which is easy to navigate. - There is no minimum or maximum working hours per day or week. You can open your slot any time of day. The real meaning of flexible right there.

      Cons

      - They are adding new teachers everyday, so the competition between teachers is getting tougher. For the old teachers who have regular students already, its not a big problem. But I pity the new teachers because it will take time for them to have students. - The rate is definitely low compared to other ESL companies I have to admit. - The admin staffs that I've encountered were all nice so far but their instructions and responses are kinda confusing sometimes. - I hope they can release a new kind of textbook.

      Pros

      Job opportunity for people who don't have a degree. They supply videos for you to familiarize yourself with the different lessons. Their communication has a quick turnaround.

      Cons

      Videos cannot actually prepare you for doing the actual lessons. Some sort of interactive system is needed to prepare teachers better for conducting the actual lessons. Communication method on the interface is a bit confusing - I cannot see which messages are unread-even when I toggle the icon to "unread messages"

      Pros

      1. Very flexible platform 2. No minimum hours required 3. mostly polite students 4. lesson material provided

      Cons

      1. The salary is pathetic and it is a shame they are still paying that same rate since they started. 2. They recently introduced a feature where you can adjust your rate but the requirements you should meet first are almost impossible to achieve. 3. very long waiting hours, too many teachers, very few students 4. a biased rating system that punishes teachers
