Pros
I feel valued and like my coworkers actually care about me. I think its the first time I feel that way in my working life. Workwise I feel like management really listens to what I have to say and take my ideas and suggestions into consideration. Also, in past companies there were many times I didn't understand why our company did something or we did it just because the owner felt like it (not a good sign), that doesn't happen at NIC. If you don't get why your boss will explain and the reason will be something like we tested other methods and this was the best. If there is something you want to do or learn, management is happy to hear about that as well. They hire smart people and it seems like they really try to foster people's growth and take advantage of our knowledge/ experience which makes me feel valued. Management and CEO/ upper management are all very approachable and seem like genuinely kind people who actually care about the rest of the workers/ coworkers. I have had a really good experience so far.
Cons
Not really much I can think of. Location is a bit far/ out of the way but obviously that is relative.
