Pros

National Home Rentals is a challenging but stimulating and rewarding environment. Throughout 2017, the company doubled in size, which represented the tremendous growth planned for the company. Every day was new and fast paced which I found energizing. I appreciated the balance between autonomy in my role and regular collaboration with other leaders in the company to help in making the best business decisions. I found National Home Rentals to be a merit-based culture in which hard work and the value you provide are rewarded rather than just years of experience or time in job which is an ideal scenario for ambitious and self-motivated individuals. National Home Rentals has a casual dress-code and provides a good deal of flexibility, both of which being positive changes for me after having come from a more conservative corporate environment in previous jobs. Finally, the company embraces the "work smart, not hard" mindset. Though long hours may be needed at times (the norm for a growing company), there is a greater emphasis on the work output (quality of work, efficiency, etc.) than number of hours at the office.

Cons

Employees who do not thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment may be overwhelmed and intimidated. Employees must also be flexible and open minded. As a growing company, at times the short-term direction may change, and you must be willing to align and move forward quickly with a different plan. Those who prefer complacency may not be comfortable nor successful in this type of environment.
