Pros

Some great and talented co-workers.

Cons

Favouritism, stress and burnout! Team spirit is low and we are constantly competing against each other in an unhealthy manner. Leadership is aware but no action has been taken. Support from senior members is scarce. There are numerous members of staff in my team who feel under intense pressure but are unable to speak up due to fear of losing their jobs.

Pros

I worked on the US NOC for over a year and found Natilik to be a group of phenomenal people. The nature of NOC work is stressful and it’s hard to get away from that but I felt that they cared. They were really supportive and reasonable about working from home through COVID. There are stepping stone jobs and there are career jobs and Natilik could be the latter if you're in the right position. Pay was competitive and the culture was for the most part light and fun. The New York team is really tight and they all care about what they do. If you’re a professional looking to move your career forward then you’ll thrive here and you’ll work with a huge team of other engineers working on lots of different technologies.

Cons

Weekend work. The NOC is stressful. To be fair, there’s no such thing as a relaxing NOC job. The main office is in London and being in the US you might feel a little out of the loop. Also, British English.

Pros

I am based virtually in the US, even remote from home, they make you feel connected in person, weekly social hour (a fine British tradition) virtually , the US VP is a witty gentleman you want to hang out after work for a drink. IT support team will have virtual clinics so they will pro-actively support you instead of submitting tickets. More vacation days than almost all the US companies I worked for, competitive salary, an upbeat CEO and can do team, if you like watching Simon Cowell or Spice Girls shows, or following the news of Richard Branson's or British soccer leagues, you are definitely want to join them.

Cons

I was hired for a specific project and I had exceptions for myself, due to change of the project and how it was structured, it was my decision to move on so I can better exercise my skill as well as better alignment of UK team to complete the project.
