Pros

- Mega Projects with an opportunity to gain a lot of experience in different construction projects (commercial, residential, marine, infrastructure, utilities, and more) - Each project is unique with different staff

Cons

- Illegal working hours (contract was 8 hrs/ day vs the actual 10-11 hrs with a total of 65-70 hrs per week) - No overtime compensation - Worked night shifts for almost a year without rotation with minimal compensation - If there are no projects company forces you to go on an unpaid leave - Work environment really toxic - Minimal compensation (transportation compensation 75 bd, car not provided despite several requests and applications, personal car was used inside construction sites without compensation, housing allowance 150 bd) - No work-life balance - Constant threats from management

Pros

Fun job. Do not work there if you value knowing what to expect day to day. Job could be good if you don't get bogged down in the detail.

Cons

Some supervisors want to keep the old ways. Not computer savvy. Lots of turnover. Lots of criticism from supervisor. No positive feedback. People working there for years max out at $15 a hour.
