Boy's Club Culture, Lack of People leaders - A good portion of the management here have known each other through friends, or through college. Some of them have slipped into management positions and many of them aren't great at it. While they are talented on the business side, so many of them lack people leading skills and this has led to a large amount of turnover at the company for years now. There are 1 or 2 good ones in there but many should have never been put into a management position in the first place. Pay- Get the fair pay upfront, because you'll never get it later. It's very hard to get a decent increase here at the company and they will only come with promotions or annual reviews and will never be anything significant. If you are not satisfied with your merit increases they will be happy to let you walk out the door and find someone else to replace you. Be careful with wearing too many hats- Everyone at Name.com wears many hats and they will talk about this, be careful getting too many hats to wear because that will lead to you being overworked and not getting paid fairly for it. Very little opportunity for growth- There are only 40-50 people who work at Name.com so the positions that open up are very rare. You might be able to get a title change in your current department but if you are interested in other areas of the company don't count on it. Even if something did open up they will probably hire from the outside.
