Pros
Enjoyed the customers that I worked with and the relationships that were built over the years. Decent pay, good benefits. I used to enjoy going to work, but that changed.
Cons
Horrible work life balance. Efforts are not rewarded. No clearly defined goals, metrics to measure them, or performance incentives to achieve them. The more you show them that you are capable of doing the more responsibilities that they place on you and expect you to do all of your own work and the slack of others. It is a lot like high school as well. Everyone has their own group that they gossip with and ostracize the others. Their is a lot of interoffice politics, favoritism, nepotism, and micromanaging. They tend to make haste decisions without thinking them through thoroughly. They put people in positions that require a lot of interaction with customers that do not have good customer service skills and then wonder why customers complain because no one takes their issues and concerns seriously.
